Craig at Professional Home Loans was fantastic to deal with. This is my first property with Craig (my fourth overall) and I've never experienced the level of service provided. Craig was a massive help to Hayley and I. A Great bloke and really easy to deal with, he knew all the in's and outs of the rules regarding purchasing a property when on a temporary visa. I am from the UK and on a Bridging Visa as applying for a Spouse / Partner Visa. Craig did his homework, gave us some great advice and we found the right home loan at the right price. We moved to Western Australia in 2012. I am from NZ and my husband is from Hawaii. We never realised how much we would love it here so after a year, we decided we wanted to build a house in Perth and permanently reside in WA. Travis is on a 461 visa and upon enquiring to different builders found that his visa was going to be a problem. We tried two brokers and were declined during the application finding out Travis's visa was going to be a problem unless we could come up with a 20% deposit. We have four children and only one income as I am a stay at home mum. We were renting and 5% was the maximum we could come up with. I found MAP Home Loans through searching online and contacted Craig. He immediately explained to us that we could get a loan with only 5% deposit. Within a few days we had all the information we required. Basically he had our pre-approval for a house and land package in Perth subject to valuation. The estate we wanted to build in was new and still being developed. After a 6 month delay, we looked in the south west coast of WA where we dreamed of living and found a beautiful home so we put in an offer and Craig had our full approval within weeks. It was such a long process overall but Craig went beyond what he needed to do and stayed in contact, kept us informed throughout and was such a blessing and great person to deal with. Hi Craig,
Thanks for your precious help along the process. Professional Home Loans has been really great. Your honesty and continuous feedback helped us a lot. Before meeting Craig it was really hard to find some accurate information from different lenders and financial institutions ( I am on a visa 461 and my partner is a PR). I was told at first that we wouldn't get the FHOG and that the bank would not provide more than 80% ...which would make it impossible for us to purchase the property we wanted. Craig was able to explain clearly the pros and cons of buying off the plan and his objectivity was much appreciated. At the end of the day and thanks to Craig knowledge regarding temporary visa status, we got the FHOG approved and a 95% loan from the bank (+LMI) ! Everything went well as expected and we were able to understand all the requirements to ensure that the deadlines were respected in a prompt and timely manner. It has been a pleasure to deal with them and I would definitely recommend them should you be looking to purchase a new property.

Finally, we were able to buy our own place in Sydney. THANKS to Michael. We were given the run around by various banks (we had a unique situation and despite good income and stable one, loan wasn't coming easy).
When we almost finally gave up, we had nothing to lose and made one last call and it was to Michael. Our hopes were back in two days from there, and had our loan approved with in next few days. We appreciated all the prompt and helpful responses to all of our queries in relation to purchasing with a Temporary Visa. He even made a bank valuation possible in 24 hours or so.
